Striker and Samba Preseason Div I Team Soccer Camps - 2008

Mandatory Elite Team Camps

The following TEAM camps are an important building block of HSC's elite training. These TEAM camps are heavily focused on the tactical information necessary to start building a successful year of growth and Total Soccer Development for these older and/or advanced teams. For more information on these camps, click here.

Striker and Samba programs will conduct their team camps with Camp Director – John Tesema (HSC Director of Coaching), Henry Mpagi (Assistant Director), and other HSC coaching staff as needed.

Camp Dates:

 

  • June 27 - July 1 = BOYS U16, 17, 18 ('93, '92, '91 Strikers)

  • July 7 - July 11 = GIRLS U12, 13, 14, 15 ('97, '96, '95, '94 Samba)

  • July 14 - July 18 = BOYS U12, 13, 14, 15 ('97, '96, '95, '94 Strikers)

  • July 21 - July 25 = GIRLS U16, 17, 18 ('93, '92, '91 Samba)

 

Camp Times:

Defense: 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Midfield: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
Striker: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Evening Games for all players: 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm

Camp Preparation:

  • The DI camps are very physically demanding.  After making the team you will be provided with a recommended fitness routine to properly prepare for the camp.

  • All U12 players will be assigned ONE position to attend for the entire camp. 

  • All U13 - 18 players will be assigned TWO positions to attend for the entire camp.

  • All U13 - U18 Keepers attend the Defense session for day 1 and 2 then the Striker sessions for days 3, 4, and 5. U12 Keepers go to the Defender session only.

  • Players should attend their proper age group to ensure proper cohesion and training with their respective team.

  • Positions are assigned to players after making the team.  Your coach will determine your position at camp.

Location:

Bell Mountain Park--South on Memorial Parkway to Redstone Road. Turn right on Redstone Road, the park is 0.5 mi. on the right.

We will provide highly personalized and intensely focused training during the day by dividing the teams by position and functionally training. At night, teams will come together to compete in game situations and apply what they have learned in the day sessions.
 

Striker and Samba Division II and Division III Preseason Team Camps - 2008

Team Camps

Part of HSC's Total Soccer Development philosophy is the opportunity to set the stage for a complete cycle of learning.  The following team camps are utilized to prepare our players during the preseason and provide the proper foundation for a great season of growth.  This camp is included with your HSC club package and all players listed below should attend this excellent opportunity.

Camp Dates:

  • Camp time/dates are to be posted ASAP.  Please check back for detailed information.

These team camps are directed by our Assistant Director of Coaching, Henry Mpagi.   Staff coaches will provide assistance when appropriate.

Location:

Bell Mountain Park--South on Memorial Parkway to Redstone Road. Turn right on Redstone Road, the park is 0.5 mi. on the right.

Goalkeeper Camp - 2008

Goalkeeper Camp

 

Professional training for all committed goal keepers. All training is provided by Coach James Ssemambo - HSC Head Keeper Coach.

This camp is open to all goal Keepers regardless of club and/or team affiliation.

 

This Camp is mandatory for all U12 Div II keepers as well as all U13 - U18 Div I keepers.  There is no additional cost for the camp.  The cost was already covered in your team camp.  Keepers in this category are provided special opportunities to train with the team during the regular team camp and then be provided this additional specialized training.

 

For all other Keepers - This camp is open to all players (regardless of HSC affiliation) from U9 age and older.  No pre-registration required but it helps us plan for the number of goal keepers. Registration and payment will be accepted the first day of the camp.

Dates: July 28 - August 1

  • U9 - U13 keepers are from 4 pm - 6 pm each day

  • U14 - U18 keepers are from 8 am to 11 am each day

Cost: $100 for U9 - U13 and $150 for U14 - U18

Location: Merrimack Park on the corner of Triana Blvd. and Drake Ave.
